Applying for a PCR test before travelling, how does it work?

When you are travelling to a country where it is mandatory to provide a negative PCR result, please follow the next steps:

  1. Check the current requirements for your destination. Each country has set its own rules for international travellers. Check how old the PCR test or RAPID test may be, whether this applies upon departure or upon arrival and whether there are additional requirements. We do our very best to keep the information on our website up to date. However, the restrictions and rules do change regularly, so we ask you to inquire with the relevant government and/or airline company.

Based on your travel destination, we select which test is required, if you need another test than the one that is required, please contact us.

Check the requirements for your destination. For most countries, the test may be taken 72 or 48 hours before arrival/departure. Take the test as early as allowed, to receive the result before your departure. When applying for your test you can select the location where you want to take the test. We work with labs where you can walk in freely and with labs where you have to make an appointment. If you use a lab where you can walk in freely, you must take the test as early as possible. If you have selected a lab where you have to make an appointment you will receive a time from us where and when you need to report.

  1. Select your test location. After you have established when you should take the PCR test, you select the location where you will take the test. We use locations where you can walk in freely and locations where you have to make an appointment. When applying for your test, it will become clear whether you have to make an appointment for the location you have selected or whether you can walk in freely. Check the current opening hours of our test locations and check which tests can be taken at the location you have selected.
Location closed at your proposed test time? Please contact us.

  2. Complete the application form. Complete the application form on our website to make an appointment for the PCR test. After you have entered your destination and selected the test location, it is automatically calculated on which day you should take the test.

  3. Receive the invitation and take the test. After you have completed the application and made the payment, you will receive an invitation from us with a barcode per email. You can report to the test location at the desired test day with the barcode received to take the test. The test is taken via a swab from the nose. The collected sample is sent to the laboratory, where the PCR test is performed.

  4. Receive the result. If you have taken the PCR test on time, you will receive the result by email in good time before your departure. In addition, you will also receive a so-called Non-Covid 19 statement per email if the test is negative. This is an official statement in English, that states that you tested negative for the corona virus. You must print this statement and take it with you on your trip.

Corona test – PCR test or Antigen rapid test

In some countries it has recently become mandatory to show a so-called Non-Covid19 statement to prove that you are not infected with the Corona virus. On this website you can quickly and easily make an appointment for a PCR test (SARS-CoV-2 via RT-PCR test) and a Non-Covid19 statement.

In addition to the PCR test, we also offer an antigen rapid test and the result of this is known within one hour. This test, including Non-Covid19 statement, is accepted to travel to a number of countries

Important information

In connection with the time that is required to perform a PCR test and to prepare the Non-Covid19 statement, we ask you to take the test on time. This means that if it has to be taken 72 hours before departure, we strongly recommend that you observe these 72 hours. PCR tests that can be performed 96 to 120 hours before departure, you preferably also take these then. This does not always apply if you select a lab to take the test where you have to make an appointment. You will then receive your test time from the lab where and when you have to report here.

You can select to take an individual test, or to take a test as a group. When you are travelling with a group (friends, family, etc.) you can take the test together. Then you will receive the test result for all travellers at the same time. Important: when one or more travellers from your group have a positive test result, (and is/are therefore infected with the corona virus), the entire group will not receive a travel document.

If you have a long stopover on the way, please contact us so that we can inform you of your test time.
